THANKS-GIVING

Yesterday was the official day of Thanks Giving, a harvest festival celebrated primarily in the United States giving thanks to a bountiful harvest (although now it is referred to as the rather unglamorous ‘Turkey Day’).

People all around the world will be celebrating the tradition by having a beautiful dinner with a turkey as the centre piece (kind of like another Christmas dinner!) and then loads of amazing side dishes like cornbread, pumpkin pie, winter squash, yams and our absolute fave, pecan pie! Some of the girls in the office have been making us drool with tales of home cooking from American relatives and have inspired us to try out our own Thanks Giving dinner!

Write in our comments box if you have tips on what we should try cooking!

In the meantime, we’ve found your perfect Thanks Giving dinner dress, enjoy!
