Black Friday: Store Openings, Sales and Coupons

This is going to be a long one.

So I’m skipping the usual intro and just getting right down to business. Here’s what time the stores are opening Friday, what fashion sales are happening and the coupons that will help you save even more. Happy Thanksgiving!

Before I get into Friday, I have to remind you Old Navy is actually open today, Thanksgiving Day, from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Here’s the Black Friday ad and the deals starting today are on page 4 and 5 (great stuff!!) If you decide to squeeze in some shopping today between cooking, parade-watching and dinner, Old Navy has a reward for you: a $10 off coupon.

Okay, back to Black Friday stores that probably won’t have ads in the paper:

If you haven’t heard by now, Gap will open at midnight and from midnight until 10 a.m. everything is 50 PERCENT OFF! (I am still in shock over this one.) Banana Republic opens at 6 a.m. and all purchases are 40 percent off from 6 a.m. until noon. After that, its 25 percent off until Sunday.

G by Guess also opens at midnight and has specials until noon. Sorry, couldn’t find out what they might be but if they’re opening at midnight, I bet they’re some great ones.

Express opens at 5 a.m. Everything, except sale itmes, is 40 percent off before noon. (The sale has already started online.) It drops to 30 percent off after 12 p.m.

Lane Bryant opens at 5 a.m. and has a MAJOR deal: the entire store is buy one, get one free. It’s so crazy and cool at the same time! Spanx is not included.

Buckle in the Oaks Mall opens at 3:30 a.m. and has 10 percent off accessories and sale denim and 15 percent off sale tops. Sinful, Affliction, Archaic and Remetee items are buy one, get the second for $10. And if you spend more than $100, the second item is free.

Forever 21 opens at 5:15 a.m. Some of the specials are jeggings are $6, boots $12 and cardigans $9. I’m sure they are going to have some bigger promotions based on the deal happening today on the website: buy one, get one free on sale items (accessories not included.)

From 6 a.m. to noon at bebe, certain items will be more than 50 percent. Wednesday, they had tons of sweaters, party tops and dresses 40 percent off so my guess is these items will be 50 or 60 percent Friday.

Ann Taylor and LOFT open at 6 a.m. and purchases are 40 percent off for both stores.

Cache opens at 6 a.m. The all-day deal is 30 percent off regular-priced items, but from 12-4 p.m. it’s 35 percent off. All red-lined, or marked down, items are an extra 50 percent off all day. This would be the perfect time to score a fabulous party or special occasion dress or some of their gorgeous jewelry.

White House Black Market opens at 6 a.m. and everything is 20 percent off (The discount is already happening online). If you spend more than $100 in the store, you get a free tote bag.

Abercrombie & Fitch opens at 6 a.m. The specific sales weren’t known yet, but they have a pretty cool promotion: spend $100 and get at $50 gift card. There’s a limited quantity of gift cards so stop by early.

Hollister opens at 6 a.m. and your entire purchase is 30 percent off.

Aldo opens at 6 a.m. I couldn’t find out what the specific sale would be, but if past Black Fridays are any indication, it should be pretty big. Right now, all sale and clearance shoes, boots, sandals and handbags are an extra 30 percent off at Aldoshoes.com.

Dillard’s opens at 8 a.m. Men, you’re in luck: Take an extra 50 percent off men’s items already mark downed. Ladies, select styles of tall boots are $99 and handbags are 50 percent off.

Chico’s will open at 8 a.m. and the store is 20 percent off (25 percent is you belong to their shopping club).

Now for the COUPONS!!

Kohl’s (opens at 3 a.m.): 15 percent off shopping pass good until Nov. 28. Online promo code is THXGIVING15.

Stein Mart (opens at 6 am.): $10 off your purchase of $25 or more (only vaid until noon) and an extra 40 percent off all red-dot clearance through Nov. 28. Click here to print the coupons.

Belk (opens at 4 a.m.): With this coupon, 15 percent off regular and sale purchases and 20 percent if you have a Belks card. The coupon code for online is 83965509.

Macy’s (opens at 4 p.m.): The WOW! Pass is good Friday AND Saturday morning until 1 p.m. It’s my favorite: $10 off $25 or more. If you miss out, here’s another coupon that doesn’t expire until Nov. 30.

At the Oaks Mall, shoppers who spend $100 Friday morning will receive a $10 Shop Etc. gift card. Just show your valid receipts at the “Merrier Shopping Redemption Zone” located in the Dillard’s Court during the following hours 6:00am-12:00pm.

And just in case you missed the paper on Tuesday, here’s my story on the store hours and big deals at all the department stores, big retailers such as Wal-mart and Target and electronic stores Best Buy and hhgregg.
