Gainesville Fashion Week update: second casting call
It appears Gainesville is a hotbed for aspiring models. During Gainesville Fashion Week’s model casting call, about 200 people submitted applications to walk the runway at this year’s fashion, music and art event scheduled for April 6-10.
Melanie Ling, GFW’s media coordinator, said because they had to close the doors at 5 p.m. during Sunday’s event, another casting call has been scheduled this Friday (Jan. 28) at Neutral 7 Design Group, located at 2444 NE 1st Blvd, Suite 700. The casting is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. So if you weren’t one of the lucky ones to make it out of the line and into the office or just couldn’t make it to the casting Sunday, here’s your second chance!
