Remember the time when we saw housewives sporting head scarves while cleaning? Head scarves were popular before but not as popular today. It has become a summer fashion essential for the ladies. It no longer serves as a housewifes cleaning mate but as a wardrobe staple.
The 50s, 60s and 70s era are the hottest fashion trend inspiration for this season. Accessories from the past have been revamped to create a transitional old look. The head scarf is definitely a fashion must-have. Although it was typically used as a hair holder it has now become a fashion statement. Its an accessory you must not miss. It still serves its purpose as a hair holder but you can stylize it the fashionable way.

Head scarves are great accessories. It will suit your style because of its versatility.
- If you plan on wearing a patterned outfit keep the head scarf simple and plain. Dont pair it with another pattern or youll have a fashion clash.
- Head scarves look great regardless of your hairstyle. If you want to highlight the head scarf tie up your hair.
- Go for a natural and simple makeup if you plan to wear a head scarf.
- Neutral colored head scarves can brighten your dark outfit.
- If you have a plain and simple outfit with neutral colors pair it with bright, patterned, bold or floral head scarf to add color and style. Keep all things simple especially your accessories.
- Never pair your head scarf with cropped tops, palazzo pants in one outfit. Its a total remake of the 50s housewife look. Unless you want to recreate that look you should avoid it.
