NYFW: Rebecca Taylor Spring/ Summer 2011

This collection is boring and unimaginative. I have nothing against Rebecca Taylor and think she is a talented designer but her Spring/ Summer 2011 range presented during New York Fashion Week disappointed me.

Plain dresses, see-through skirts that reveal underwear and mannish shirts in Rebecca Taylor Spring/ Summer 2011 collection seem derivative to me. Besides, I hate those frocks covered with scanty sequins. They look horrible.

The colors aren’t pretty either. Occasional green and orange aren’t enough to make the Rebecca Taylor Spring/ Summer 2011 collection bright and attractive for summer season. We want more colors, more life in outfits.
