Wardrobe Musts: Cocktail Rings
There are a few pieces in a woman’s wardrobe that serve the same function as salt in a spice rack or duct tape in a tool box: basic, must-have provisions. Personally, my girl-kit includes skinny jeans, classic pointed-toe pumps, an Equipment blouse, and the subject of today’s ode, a truly show-stopping cocktail ring.
All rings are not created equal. Even within the subset of colossal cocktail rings, they run the gamut from ladylike to punky. For those drawn to classic mega-watt shine, Dannijo and Marc Jacobs rings work wonders with rhinestones and faceted gems. The lover of cutting-edge trends should look to Low Luv x Erin Wasson and House of Harlow 1960 for designs a step ahead of the rest. On the more unusual side of the scale, Jody Candrian and Citrine by the Stones do wild and wonderful things with geodes, while Pamela Love brings strange, dark designs with an otherworldly vibe.
