I didnt want to crowd my previous He/She post with Tim Soars moodboard images for S/S 12 so here they are. From the A/W 11-12 unisex concept, which Steve and I roadtested, where men and womens clothes are interchangeable and undefinable in gender, we will see a greater degree of separation for S/S 12. As it turns out S/S 12 menswear will feel slightly more feminine and the womenswear will also become less androgynous which will make for an interesting debut at London Fashion Week, as Tim Soar has become one of the recipients of New Gen. Fifties silhouettes where its tight at the bottom and fuller on the top populate Soars moodboards which will definitely play out in the collection. For men?

When the weather is grueling and burning its the perfect time to show off some skin.  Wearing comfortable clothes may do the trick but sometimes wearing the least amount of clothes is needed.  This doesnt necessarily means you need to go nude or wear your undies.  It simply means wearing a piece of outfit that gives you that cool and breezy feeling like the cropped top.

When Kate Moss donned a gown with a peek-a-boo skirt for her recent wedding, opinion was divided on whether it was too racy for the occasion or if it was just plain perfect. I fell into the latter camp, and the more I spot sheer maxi skirts and dresses on street style blogs, the more I want to try the trend out for myself.

Because I’d rather not get ticketed for indecent exposure, I’ll skip the bodysuits and booty shorts and simply layer a sheer, embroidered maxi dress by Free People over a short lace slip dress, or wear a sheer maxi skirt over a jersey miniskirt in an unexpected contrasting color. Or

We’re sure from our previous blog posts you’re aware that we’re very big fans of gorgeous girl duo The Pierces at Oasis HQ… and we’re just so excited that the girls love us back! Our Press Team met with Catherine and Allison yesterday to help them pick their favourite pieces from our Christmas collection which we’ll be delivering to them soon. They also visited our store to pick the pieces they love now… and we had a sneak peek into their shopping bag!

Marc Jacobs’ creations have always attracted attention, often puzzled but never left indifferent. His Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collection shocked but it was amazing in its own, very special way. Accessories he designed to go with clothing were much more wearable though. The bag range was amazing. Some of the pieces looked really wonderful.

Marc Jacobs’ Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 handbag collection is very diverse. You can find classic leather pieces that would be great additions to any wardrobe due to their versatility. There are also some bags which look funny and cheerful.
