WE’RE LISTENING TO NERINA PALLOT
Just out is Nerina Pallot’s new album, Year of the Wolf, the fourth record from this Brit nominated singer songwriter. You may remember her from previous single Everybody’s Gone to War, and you might even recognise her name from songwriting credits for the likes of pop princess Kylie Minogue! We’re in love with her new euphoric songs – have a taster with her latest single Put Your Hands Up in the music video, below.
Want a lovely insider fact? Nerina met her future husband Andy through a mutual friend, he proposed half an hour into their first date and their wedding was six weeks later on Valentine’s Day! Looks like

Bathing suits turn into figure-flattering wardrobe pieces
The itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini has semi-retired, and women everywhere can finally exhale.
In its place, figure-flattering suits that will make you love the swim you’re in.
So get ready to slip on a skirt, skort or short, tunic and tankini — even a one-piece that discreetly nips and tucks.
“Swimsuits have definitely taken on a wardrobe-like persona,” said Erin McCormick, swimwear merchandise manager at Lands’ End.
“You can go from beach to store without feeling exposed, or worry about a bikini malfunction.”
This is not to discount the bikini, but the summer staple of song will take a back seat to the one-piece this year, at least according to a survey by Lands’ End.

Chris Cardi Couture
Chris Cardi took us from laying out in the sun in Sironna Swimwear to fun in the sun with designs made for recreation. The models carried props from bags to picnic baskets to baseball bats and balls. The springtime line had a more neutral palette for casual wear with some red and green punches. Jeans, flip-flops and rain boots made a comeback in this line.
This line, while Alex H. and I agree was less high fashion, was still all fun. We were transported to a spring afternoon enjoying the weather and the clothes.
